The $25 City Resident I.D. Card
The annual resident card costs $25. To qualify, a golfer must live in or own a residence within the San Diego City Council-defined districts; businesses do not qualify.
The City says tee times are quoted at the nonresident rate. Present a valid City Resident I.D. Card at check-in to receive the resident rate. For an 8–90 day resident reservation, the City also requires the valid card at the time of reservation.
Booking windows and fees
Booking fees are nonrefundable, charged per player per tee time, and do not apply toward the green fee. Green fees are paid on the day of play; applicable cart and club rentals are separate.

Resident example: a resident booking 8–90 days out pays a $32 booking fee for each player, then the applicable green fee on the day of play. A resident booking 0–7 days out has no booking fee.
Nonresident example: a nonresident booking Torrey Pines 0–90 days out pays a $50 booking fee for each player, then the applicable green fee on the day of play.
Cart fees are separate
The City's posted green fees do not include a golf cart, and carts are not required. The published rental is $48 for 18 holes and $34 for nine holes or Twilight.
