What the course is like

The challenge comes from more than just yardage

Strategic inland North County layout through rolling Valley Center terrain with mature oaks, natural contours, elevation changes and positional landing areas. At 6,768 yards from the Black tees, the challenge comes more from native/out-of-play areas, side slopes, preferred landing zones and a demanding back nine than from extreme length.

Walking the course

A good course to walk

From a terrain standpoint, Native Oaks is moderately demanding on foot: rolling ground, elevation changes and side slopes create more physical work than a flat municipal layout without reaching the extremes of the steepest hill courses.
