The shorter format is the point
Rolling natural valley at the base of the Escondido Mountains with water features, sculpted bunkers and a tighter front nine followed by a more open but longer back nine. Portions of holes 11–17 also function within a… Beginner-friendly in format but moderate in actual shot-making difficulty. Every hole is par 3, yet Blue includes multiple 160–194-yard holes, water, bunkering, uneven terrain and undulating greens.
A good course to walk
Very good; the course is only 2,582 yards over 18 unique holes and City documentation says the site is walkable for most golfers, though the terrain is rolling rather than flat. Walking is very good and carts are optional. Power carts currently $14 for 18 / $12 for 9. City documents state site topography allows walking by most golfers.
