What the course is like

The challenge comes from more than just yardage

Highly strategic target-golf routing through rugged Ramona foothills with elevation changes, blind and semi-blind shots, granite boulders, ancient oaks, canyons, water and narrow landing areas. Placement matters more than raw length; constrained landing zones and severe misses create most of the challenge.

Walking the course

Plan on riding

From a terrain standpoint, Mt. Woodson is one of the least walk-friendly layouts in the area. Severe elevation changes and long green-to-tee transitions make the physical effort much higher than the course's total yardage suggests.
