Older secondary material says 7 days, but that should remain unverified. Very good overall in 2026 and generally fast. Current reports praise coverage, receptiveness and subtle contour, with occasional speed inconsistency, dampness or unrepaired ball marks. Fairways are strongly positive with healthy coverage and good lies. Thick Kikuyu rough is a meaningful penalty. Bunker sand quality is generally good, though raking/moisture can vary.

This is built as a destination-style round
Classic accuracy-first tree-lined inland resort course. The front nine is tighter and more intimate; the back opens visually while adding more elevation. Thick Kikuyu rough, fairway slope… Harder than the yardage first suggests. Current official championship setup is 6,703 yards at 73.5/134, but the main challenge is dispersion, Kikuyu rough, elevation, small targets and strategic tee positioning.
A good course to walk

Walking appears permitted via current secondary data, but official policy/rate remain unverified; the more elevated back nine makes it meaningfully harder than flatter inland courses.
